Originally sub-titled as An independent Monthly Journal but changed to New Zealand's Rail Transport Journal in ????

This long running magazine was issued monthly for all 30 years of its publication and edited by Bob Stott. It filled a gap by presenting commentary and short articles, keeping readers up to date on current happenings within the New Zealand railway scene and some international news.

It was presented in A4 Portrait format with the front cover re-stlyed a number of times as listed below
