The Developments

  • Thirteen 47ft 6in car-vans were converted from 44 foot carriages in 1911.
  • Ten of the 1911 conversions were from 44 foot 'turtle-back' roofed carriages to BP_2275 with 9ft 9in long Guard's compartments to BP_5132
