25-Sep-1874 Ordered as one of 25 F class locomotives required. Landed in New Zealand in 1876. Was in the first batch that went to tender
1875 - Built by the Avonside Engine Company in Bristol, England
1876 - Shipped to New Zealand on the "Desdemona",
8-June-1876 - arrived at Lyttelton
10-Sep-1876 - Entered service at Christchurch
1877 - Became F75 before the end of 1877
16-Dec-1882 - Delay to train from Timaru to Albury through valve spindle nuts of engine slackening
Feb-1899 - A new Addington Boiler was fitted
Sep-1925 - Sold to Stuart and Chapman (sawmillers) and inspected at Ross
1945 - Addington Boiler replaced by an A. & G. Price boiler
1955 - Sold to Butler Bros
1966 - stopped work
