February 1 2022. The site went live today, though with a minimum of functionality, so prospective users can get a feel of what will be available. This will hopefulll

The key functionality is the South Island Network Diagram. Baring a few incomplete links (please report any you find) you can go from the Diagram to a page for any Station or Track-section.

We are currently adding links on each page to be able to go back to the correct place on the Diagram, and adding Trails to each page that allow you to move to previous and next Stations, and Track-sections adjacent to Stations.

We have also started loading the File Record data into the individual Station tabs, with the following Lines completed

As these task come to completion, we will move on to fully developing the North Island Network Diagram with lessons learned on the South Island helping to speed that process up. At this stage I have tentatively set June as a target for getting the North Island Diagram live.

By going live of course it will no doubt generate a lot of enquiries which will need some priority attention but hopefully still leave us enough time to keep the project moving forward.
