No doubt traffic can be done in this way, but under serious disadvantage – that I think will be required at Makarewa is a shed on the west side next to the line, closed at the back and ends. It would certainly be a great advantage to have such a shed erected at once, as there will doubtless be complaints of goods landing without shelter.
