  • Loco_A600 transferred from Wellington back to Palmerston North
  • Loco_Ww492 Transferred from Wellington to Wanganui. this was the only one in Wellington with a Waikato Spark Arrester
  • Roller bearings awaited for Ja_class_loco's finally arrived
  • A disabled railcar hauled by Loco_Ub364 from Greymouth to Christchurch with some challenges
  • Loco_Ub364 then pulled Loco_Ab688 to Hillside
  • Loco_Ab688 had been severely damaged in the Islington smash after the over-run of a signal in thick fog
  • Observed that all Linwood-based locos have class and number on front and rear buffer-beams, except Ub_Class_locos which have them on the smoke-box door
  • Loco_Ub329 on a passenger service from Rangiora
  • Loco_Q343 assisted a J_class_Loco from Dunedin to Seacliff with the morning express bound for Christchurch
