|The reason for removal was that it was more convenient to have  slaughter houses adjacent to sale yards.  They undoubtly found the accommodation in slaughter house at West  Plains insufficient and decided on removing to Wallacetown for reasons  altogether apart from the inconvenience of discharging stock arriving by rail  at West Plains.
