Enter a poersonID in the format "PersonNNNNNNN"
Event type:

Select from the list if relevant
Date Prefix:

Select an appropriate Date prefix, selecting 'between' requires a "Second Date" entry
Date:

enter all known date details
Second Date:

Only used when 'between' is selected as a Prefix. Enteras many Date details as possible
Occupation:

Copy an occupation from the list. If it is a valid new occupation, create it as an occupation first.
Grading:

enter relevant Grading data. Generally in the form of Gd-2,Yr-2 or Gd-Sp
Location:

Copy a Station Name from the available list of Stations
